We booked an extra night on our trip too...mainly because it costed a lot more money to try and travel home on the 8th...we actually ended up saving money by staying an extra night at the resort?!  crazy?!  We booked the extra night through Olivia and it cost around $330, including taxes & fees.

We have to arrive a day early because of flight schedules from the west coast. We called Olivia for recommendation since the Club Med couldn't accomodate us.  They recommended us to www.tripadvisor.com. On this website you can look at comments folks have made about the hotels and resorts and you can also get rates and locations.  We booked at the Ocean Club Resort which is in Grace Bay Beach and is not too far from Club Med.  The rate we got was $223 for two people and that rate includes tax and service fees.  The rate at the Club Med through Olivia is $338 per couple and I don't know if that includes taxes and service fees.

We are actually staying extra time at the end of the trip. I found the best deals by going to Hotels.com. I think I only paid 89 a night on there. We were able to stay longer at the Club Med but it was over 300 a night more so I thought I would do some research.

My girl and I wanted to fly on on the 1st on that 2:35 pm AA arrival flight from Miami but I waited too long to make the reservations... there is a 2nd flight that day but it doesn't arrive until almost 9 pm and by the time you get to Club Med, we'd end up missing the whole first day of our trip. So we opted to fly out on the 30th and the 31st.  We will arrive in the Turks on Halloween day, which should be interesting however we need to find and make a reservation for a place to stay at for that night.

Does anyone have any ideals of a place to stay for the Night???
