We can't wait to meet all you ladies!  We too went to PV last November, it was our first Olivia trip and WOW, what an experience!!!!!!!!!!!  We are hoping to win another "2 for 1" to PV next November!  I can't imagine traveling any other way than Olivia!

I'm with you girls, I like to have liquor in my room too...I'm sure we'll hit up a liquor store if the rooms aren't already stocked with at least a little something-something?!!!

wasn't PV the greatest!  As far as the alcohol at the Club Med resorts - at lunch and dinner there will be beer and wine.  At all the other bars there is a wide variety of alcohol, rum, vodka, etc.  I drink vodka and I have never paid for a drink.  The only thing that you may have to pay for would be very expensive tequila or champagne, 

Oh No....we will need to meet up & have someone do a quick run to the liquor store!!

In puerto Vallarta last year there was Tequila, Rum, Vodka & Whiskey in the rooms along with coke etc. The soft drinks were re-filled ea day.

There was also a bottle of red wine in the room when we got there.

Whatever happens, we will have a blast I'm sure.

When I was at another Club Med (which is what Olivia is utilizing).  I saw a few people bring rolling coolers with booze in them and then use the ice from the ice machine.  They had bars in their rooms.  At all these resorts they get you on paying for liquor at the bar.  At dinner wine and beer are included.

if is is like all the other club meds that we have been too the only thing in your mini is water...  You do not store cocktails in your room, sorry!  The only place that happened was at Puerta Vallarta, stock bar in your room!  Just a little hint, a little birdie told me that Olivia is going back there in November 2009, GREAT RESORT!!!!  Sorry got a little distracted...  Michelle and I drink vodka so we would just get a straight drink (no ice) and put it in our fridge for later in the day or nite...

I have read a couple different reports, one states a mini "fridge" in the room and one states a mini "bar."  Does anyone know if they stock the fridge with anything and if not, how we go about getting a few cocktails stored in our room?
